    Evolution of Digital Printing, Textile and UV Printing

    EVOLUTION OF DIGITAL PRINTING,

    TEXTILE AND UV PRINTING

    The Digital Printing is diversified with new fields by being wide of sign market. So, most of companies are developing and lunching related applications and finishing device system with textile printer at this moment.
    The Digital Printing System is developing with textile and UV printing as well as the existing water based and solvent printers.

    Also, it is eco-friendly as they only need quantity that they want to use dye-ink. One of the textile companies said "The conventional dying method need a screen, but the degree of maximum color expression is around 20 degree. On the other hand, the Digital Textile Printing has the way of unlimited color expression and they can do a diverse expression."

    Using Heat Transfer Device after printing on materials

    DTP is divided into Dye-sublimation and Direct Printing method. Direct Printing don't use the Dye-sublimation paper, so they can save the time and cost by printing on media directly with digital dying device.
    So, it is usually used in sample production and Mass-Customization products.
    They can print out a diverse media with just one direct printer. Possible media are cotton, silk, polyester, and nylon. And also they can use with just changing ink according to different materials.
    On the other hand, Digital Conventional Dying uses Heat Transfer Device for process of steam. Attached heat transfer device on printer makes colors vivid and durability high.

    Small quantity demand is with Digital Flatbed Printers
    We have to consider the direct printing works on T-shirts using Digital Flatbed Printers. If we use digital printing, it is possible to print out even complicated images. Also, as post-Fordism is available, this way is good for petty ordered T-shirts production.
    Digital Flatbed Printer also needs to be treated by heating for heat transfer and durability. So, after printing images, put the heat and pressure by using Heat Press.
    Dye-sublimation is the way to print on Dye-sublimation paper and put on the materials, transfer images with heat by using Dye-inks, so this is mostly used in polyester such as swimsuits and sportswear.
    As it is used for the complicated images and colors such as clothes, towels, accessories in Textile Industry, delicate colors matching is very important.
    Especially, colors could be looked differently on monitor or printer, and media, so, colors circle's unity is also essential. Digital conventional dying can express colors consistently by using the colors saved in computer and it is easy to reproduce with same impression of colors.
    They need CMS program of storage and management which objectify and standardize for this. Further, DTP companies develop and show color management program, not only sales.

    Various applications with UV Printing
    UV Printer can be applied for a various materials because there is no limit. That's why they can be applied not only for the sign market, but also for interior and printing industry.
    Now, Digital Printing is already spread in South Asia as well as advanced countries such as North America.
    So, most of business related in sign is doing printing skills with UV Printers.
    Especially, they are using both roll-to roll and flat and there are the diverse applications like architecture, interior, and living products.
    Digital cutter Series are also attracting attention, not only printing system. Advent of digital cutter series with UV Printers is to provide one-stop total system. It has advantage of lunching or sampling through one-stop total system before mass production in packaging or sample market.☯
