The Primary Purpose of DPGshow The
primary purpose of the DPGshow 2004 is to enhance the new value of the digital
printing and graphic world. This is why the show will focus on the development
of value in three key points: Technology, Design, and Industry. As 21st century
technologies have been digitalized over all industries, digital printing has
been being used as important method in graphic design. Recently, digital
printing began to play an outstanding role in graphic design. Understanding the
current flow, the new DPGshow 2004 is devoted to the development of digital
printing and graphic imaging. Even now, the term, ?igital Printing?is unfamiliar
to many people. Although people see and use digital prints every day, they don?
realize what digital printing is and how it? applied. One reason why so many are
unaware of digital printing is because each industry has often used individual
terms to describe digital printing. To combat this, the DPGshow 2004 is planned
and organized to systematically and logically educate digital printing industry.
Floor Plan Based on Digital Printing Process First,
the show? floor plan is organized to correspond with the process of digital
printing. For instance, digital printing starts with input, and ends with the
outputs or results. This process requires graphic design work. After the output
of the digital printing, finishing work is added. The show? floor plan is based
on the process of digital printing such as input, output, graphic design, ink
& media, and finishing work. To help people from all fields understand the
process of digital printing, each field is specifically divided as in the chart
below.

| | Eight Applicable Areas for
Digital Printing As we?e explained above, although digital printing
has been extensively applied in a wide range of industries, the public has not
appreciated digital printing, or even its types of business applications. To
lead a new generation of the digital printing industry, the DPGshow 2004 will
showcase its applicable areas, classifying them into eight groups (see the table
below). One of the biggest businesses for Digital printing is the outdoor
advertising community. They include sign, banner, building and vehicle wrapping,
billboard, all kinds of graphics on shuttle bus stop, subway and train station
etc. The DPGshow 2004 is also designed to exhibit all applications as well as
outdoor advertising community, introduce its new future-oriented market, and
help create the state-of-the-art graphic design industry. The show will help
establish the landmark future of digital printing by combining digital printing
technology with IT, mobile communication, and the Internet industry.

| | Each Day, International
Seminars, and Special Events Digital printing is now, involved
in many industries segments, and its applications continue to expand. Although
digital printing uses the identical process and products in all industries, its
applications are immeasurable, so it has been difficult to systematically and
theoretically approach the digital printing industry. Now the DPGshow? floor
plan will be classified by the process of digital printing and applicable areas,
and demonstrate how digital printing is a high-tech industry. By featuring
additional events as well as exhibitors from a verity of fields, the DPGshow
will provide visitors with much helpful information and many attractions. To
attract even more potential customers, more practical activities should be added
into the trade show. Therefore, the DPGshow will also conduct some events like
International seminars and a digital printing application showcase (refer to the
schedule of supplementary events below). Each day, Int? seminar will comprise of
eight sessions. A special room will display the spotlight items and new
technology to the show? visitors, offering the practical information about them.
